Good afternoon RedHawks!

Wow we are down to only two games left of the normal season! Crazy how time flies when you’re having fun. Below you will find scheduled spirit nights, expo information and more.

Friday, October 4th

  • Ice Cream Spirit Night at Blue Cow Ice Cream. Mention Kanawha at check out for a portion of the proceeds to go back to Kanawha.
  • 4:00pm – 7:00pm @ 12171 W. Broad St.

Also due on Friday, October 4th is t-shirt sizes for all players and cheerleaders. Please fill out the form on your TeamSnap.

Saturday, October 5th 

  • Away game against Henrico.
  • J Sargent Reynolds Field @ 1651 E Parham Rd.
  • Games start at 9am

Sunday, October 6th

  • Cheerleading Expo at Tucker High School @2910 N. Parham Rd.
  • Cheerleaders must arrive by 8:30am. Your cheerleader will be in their warm-up the entirety of the time they are there, aside from when they are performing.
  • We are asking that all Football Players attend to support the Kanawha Cheerleaders as they support you at the Football games.
  • When cheerleaders are performing, doors will not open until transition from one team to the next team.
  • Our cheerleaders are performing at the following times:
    • Flag Cheer: 9:30am
    • 8U Cheer: 10:00am
    • 10U Cheer: 10:30am
    • 12U Cheer: 11:00am
  • Awards will begin at 11:10am
  • They generally will have food trucks for concessions and flowers for sell.

Wednesday, October 9th 

  • Mellow Mushroom spirit day. Mention Kanawha at checkout, To-Go or Online orders.
  • All day @ 12171 W. Broad St.

Saturday, October 12th 

  • Last regular season game! This is a HOME game against Goochland.
  • Games start at 9am
  • During our 12U game we will be doing a Senior Walk for all of our Seniors who are aging out of the program.
    • Seniors will take the field during half-time walking from the Goal Line to the 50 yard line with their parent/guardian, while the announcers say their names and how long they have been with Kanawha.

Be on the lookout for Equipment Return dates, Championship games, All Stars if chosen and more. We also would like you to save the date for our End of the Year Banquet which will be held on Friday, November 8th tentatively at 6pm. Stay tuned for more information. We are still looking for new board members for the 2025-2026 seasons – if interested please let us know.
