Kanawha 2025 Season Start
Hello Kanawha Families!
We are super excited to start the fall season Monday, July 28th! Here is some important information (long message alert).
FINAL Football Equipment Handout: This is when you get your helmet and sized for a jersey.
*July 10th 6pm – 7:30pm
-Please bring your child’s DMV ID
-Note you will not receive a helmet or jersey unless paid in full.
Cheer Uniform Fittings: Fitting of vest and skirt.
*First week of practice, during practice.
-Warm up outfit must be ordered by August 1st and is required for ALL cheerleaders.
-Note you will not receive a uniform unless paid in full.
First day of practice for both Cheer and Football is on Monday, July 28th at 6:00pm. Please be sure to wear the proper shoes and practice gear. (Football players – cleats, Cheerleaders – laced tennis shoes)
Football practices Monday through Friday 6:00pm – 8:00pm before school starts on the football field.
Cheer practices Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6:00pm – 7:30pm before school starts on the softball field.
There will be a MANDATORY parents meeting on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:30pm at the football field bleachers. This is for both football and cheer parents.
We need parent volunteers to learn how to operate the clock on game days. There will be a training on 8/20 at 6pm done by a Referee at the Glen Allen Football Field (RF&P park).
Team Snap will be one of the ways we will communicate game times, practice updates, weather related cancellations and more. Please be sure to download the app if you haven’t done so.
